The Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program, also known as Drug Court, is a program focused on helping those with a drug and/or alcohol addiction to find and maintain sobriety through a combination of intensive treatment and supervision.
Those who come into the program will plead guilty to their charges and have their jail time suspended upon successful completion of the program. If participants are not successful, then they must face their sentencing judge and underlying time.
This program is meant for those who want to achieve and maintain sobriety and are looking for an opportunity to do so with support and resources.
