I want to thank you for visiting the County Assessor site. The constitutional duty of the Assessor is to list, locate, and value all property in Albany County. To accomplish this, we use industry accepted mass appraisal procedures and methodologies. I believe all citizens should be informed on this process and we are here to serve. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) uses hardware, software and data for displaying information visually. The county's GIS works to help support and guide decisions of Albany County Government and local agencies. County's GIS also assists the public in their mapping needs.

Field Inspection Locations

Our office is required to inspect all property in Albany County as least once every 6 years. We also inspect properties with building permits, conduct sales verifications, and will schedule inspections with property owners if they wish.
